On the occasion of the 20th Meeting of the Banlieues d‘Europe Network – New Dimensions of Education, Reza will speak on the topic of “Non-formal artistic and cultural education : what opportunity for social and professional integration ?” in Munich (Germany), on Tuesday November 21th 2013 at 9:45 am (Halle 6, Dachauerstr. 112). Others speakers : Dounia Besson, Vice-President of Greater Lyon, Employment, Insertion and Solidarity Economy programme manager, Michael Brater, Alanus Higher School for the Arts and Social Sciences, Lina Attel, National Center for Theatrical Arts of the King Hussein Fondation.

The 20th annual meeting of the Banlieues d’Europe network will take place in Munich (Germany), 20 – 22 November 2013, in partnership with the Münchner Trichter network. The issue of non formal artistic and cultural education will be at the heart of these three days of debates, framed around a European forum of artistic and cultural projects, plenary sessions, simultaneous workshops and field visits in Munich.

An unmissable resource centre of cultural and artistic innovation in Europe, Banlieues d’Europe brings together 300 international active partners and 5000 contacts in Europe. The network is constituted of cultural actors, artists, militants, social workers, local councillors and researchers. Their joint objective is to exchange practices and information and to get away from isolation in order to valorise cultural action projects in deprived neighbourhoods with excluded communities.
