Doctor specialist of Persian literature, Leili Anvar is a French-Iranian academic.
She teaches at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO).
She is also a translator and managed the publication of an anthology of Arabic, Persian and Turkish poetry entitled “Orient – Mille ans de poésie et de peinture”.
Atiq Rahimi is a novelist and a French-Afghan director.
He received the Goncourt prize in 2008 for his novel “Syngué sabour, Pierre de patience”.
His first movie “Terre et cendres”, presented in the A Certain Glance section to the Cannes film festival 2004, obtained the Prize “Regard vers l’Avenir”.
